मंदिर का इतिहास

Built in the Kalinga architectural style, construction was started by King Anantavarman Chodaganga in the 12th century and completed in 1161.

कहानी

King Indradyumna was instructed in a dream to carve deities from a sacred wooden log. Lord Vishwakarma arrived as a carpenter but left the idols incomplete when disturbed. These wooden idols are worshipped to this day.
